The firm

A practitioner-led firm built for connected problems.

Reglonix works across management consulting, technical services and capacity building, with a focus on situations where strategic, technical, operational and regulatory considerations are connected.

Most firms are organised to answer one of those at a time. The difficulty is that real decisions rarely arrive that way. A strategy question turns out to depend on a certification constraint. A technical programme stalls on an organisational one. A security finding turns out to be a capability gap.

Our work is organised through three practices, and an engagement may sit in one or draw on more than one.

How the practices connect

A question rarely stays inside one discipline.

A client engagement may remain within one practice or draw on more than one. A strategy engagement may require market intelligence. A technical programme may require organisational change. A quality or security intervention may require internal capability building.

The practices are structured to remain connected where the work requires it, and to stay out of each other's way where it does not.

How we work

Five stages, applied at the depth the mandate requires.

  1. Engage

Understand the mandate, context, constraints and success criteria.

  2. Diagnose

Assemble evidence, test assumptions and map the operating reality.

  3. Design

Create a practical response with clear options, risks and trade-offs.

  4. Deliver

Execute with discipline and manage change.

  5. Sustain

Embed capability, transfer knowledge and measure the outcome.

The depth of each engagement is determined by the capability required, the evidence available and the qualifications of the practitioners assigned to the work.

Operating standard

Every engagement produces something you can act on.

A written conclusion. A stated position. Supporting evidence. Clear implications for action.

That standard applies whether the mandate is a two-week red-flag review or a programme running across a year. If an engagement cannot produce it, we would rather not take the engagement.

Cyber and Post-Quantum Security

Harvest now, decrypt later changes the retention question

If information must stay confidential for fifteen years, the relevant question is not whether the cryptography is sound today. It is whether the data is already sitting in someone else's archive.

Note

Intelligence and Geopolitics

Open source is not the same as unfiltered

The volume problem in open-source work is a collection-design problem. Most of what fails in OSINT fails at the requirement stage, before anyone has looked at a source.

Note

AI and Emerging Technology

When a small language model is the correct answer

Narrow task, controlled information environment, defined risk tolerance. Where all three hold, a smaller model is usually easier to govern and easier to defend.
